GOING GREEN 

June  3 - 7

Students will learn about Reduce, Reuse and Recycle and how to protect our planet.  We will plant and grow things.  By the end of summer we will reap and eat!

COOKING

June 10 - 14

Learn measuring, safe cooking, the proper way to wash, but most importantly, we will cook!  A dinner for our parents will be served at the end of the week.

HOMESTEADING

June 17 - 21

We begin with homesteading in history then meet some real life homesteaders. We will feed chickens, make stuff by hand and have a fire cooked meal. 

GOING TO THE DOGS

June 24 - 28

Fuzzy furry friends are the highlight of this week.  Teaming up with Going to the Dogs in Pocahontas, we will do a little community service for our furry friends. Also, learn to bathe, feed and take care of pets.  

PIRATES and PRINCESSES

July 1 - 5

We will dig out the costumes for this one.  Emphasis on anti-bullying and using kindness everyday.  There's a treasure hunt at the end of the week with a visit from Buddy the Pirate!

LEARN ABOUT ADULTING

July 8 - 12

We will buy a car, make reservations, make a grocery list, go shopping, sew and fix a lawn mower.  We might even keep a check register and plan a family vacation!

SUPER HEROES AND SUPER SOAKERS

July 15 - 19

Kids learn about the super heroes and meet a few real life ones.  We will draw our own comics, all the while enjoying some water fun on the lawn.  BYOWatergun.

DRAMA

July 22 - 26

Students learn the basics of acting and stagecraft.  With emphasis on improvisation, the students will do a performance for parents at the end of the week.

"0" ELECTRONICS

July 29 - August 2

This won't hurt as much as they think it will.  We will revisit the pass times of the old days.  Board games, charades, outdoor games and finally a 50's movie day.

MARTIAL ARTS

August 5 - 9

Learn to defend yourself while getting a good work out.  Stretching and tumbling included.  Explore the ink art and hand painting of Japan.

BORN TO WIN

August 12 - 16

A motivational camp dedicated to positive attitude.  Just in time for school to start.  The week will end with a presentation of song and motivational speaking by the students.

PRICING AND INFO...

From 8 to 4 Monday through Friday.  (Additional hours are available through the Studio After School Academy, which runs from 4 to 7 daily.)  Tuition is $75.00 and includes most supplies and snacks.  Campers will bring a sack lunch unless otherwise instructed.  There will be a rest/decompression time period daily after lunch with a book reading out loud.  All students will abide by this.  Each camp must have a minimum of 10 students in order to run.  Maximum enrollment is 25.  Since spaces are limited, a $10.00 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your space in the camp.
